Conversation Views
View and process email threads by conversation. Regardless of where you have your messages (your inbox, sent folder, or any other folders), messages are grouped by subject so you can see all messages within a conversation.
With conversation view, as soon as a new message arrives, it appears in the message thread. Conversation view makes it easy to focus on one discussion at a time and view all details about a conversation easily.
Message Tags
Message Tags allow you to tag important messages and then find those messages regardless of where they are in your mailbox. You can assign as many tags to a message as you like, allowing you to organize your messages how you like. A tag can be anything: projects, email from an important client, next actions or deferred items. Use message filters to automatically tag incoming messages with specific tags, so you can easily identify new items that require your immediate attention.
Tags can be used to organize Documents, Tasks, Contacts or Briefcase items.
Integrated Search
Easily search for items across all your email accounts. Specify search queries for pictures, documents, even specific text inside attachments! The visual search builder lets you search by folder, date, person, subject or attachment.
Save searches as Virtual Folders, making it easy to find items frequently searched for. Advanced searches are executed immediately, allowing you to see the results and narrow them down by adding more specific phrases or options.
Contacts
The Contacts feature allows you to send email, dial phone numbers or look up addresses. Use groups and tags to organize your contacts the way you want. Drag a contact onto the Maps zimlet to see their exact location on a yahoo map. The email client even autocompletes email addresses from your contacts.
You also get two-way sync of your contacts to your mobile device. So you never have to input a contact's information in your mobile device, then again into your mail client. We've created a zimlet to scan your address book for birthdays and automatically create a recurring appointment, so you'll never forget a birthday again!
Documents
Create and edit documents online, then share and collaborate on them with others in your team. The built-in revision history lets users quickly revert unwanted changes. Think of documents as collaborative Wiki pages, enabling better collaboration and communication within your organization.
The Documents feature comes with a powerful "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG) editor which allows you to create rich documents with embedded spreadsheets, images, tables, etc. Once you're finished with that document, publish it online, then share it with others via email. That email contains a direct link to the document online giving your customers, contacts or partners view only access.
Calendaring
The integrated Calendar allows you to gain control of your busy schedule. Never again send multiple emails between co-workers trying to schedule an appointment. Full access to each user's free/busy schedule allows you to pick a time that is convienant for everyone. Then send out the meeting invite to have it automatically added to each attendee's calendar.
Shared calendars are a great way to schedule meetings and follow-ups within a team. Each person you share a calendar with can view its events. So busy that you have a personal assistant? Why not give that assistant full permissions to view, add, edit and accept meeting invites on your behalf.
You can even create a public calendar that you can embed on your website so customers can see upcoming events, trade shows, etc, that you'll be attending. Have a key partner that you work with regularly? GCS supports two-way free/busy information with Microsoft's Exchange Server, IBM's Lotus Domino Messaging Server, Meeting Maker, and a slew of other third-parties that interact with our API.
Briefcase
Some people can't go anywhere without their briefcase. Our virtual briefcase stores all your important files, price lists, spreadsheets, etc. Now you can quickly attach files to an email instead of trying to remember where you saved it on your computer. Setup a shared briefcase so that your sales team has access to all the latest price lists, data sheets and whitepapers. You can even save attachments from an email directly to your briefcase with one click!
